Games played:
The day before the Day of Days,
That Never really was
….
I do wonder how history will regard this whole saga. Good or bad, I suspect that it will go down as a milestone for British politics. Perhaps the day that everything changed? Or then again perhaps not.
Whatever happens, no matter your ‘side’, there WILL be fallout. There MUST be consequences. Political, personal and economic, for all of us.
Remember this time people. This is History. There is an old Chinese curse: ‘May you live in interesting times’ and that is most certainly what we are experiencing.
History is quite different when you are in it, than when you read about it in books.
Anyway, in the Sanctuary that is the FGC a good time was had by all and many games were played.
On a personal note, I was in the Traveller game. I don’t get a chance to Role Play often these days and I was looking forward to it. We all got into our characters very quickly, possibly a bit too much for the progress of the story and to the slight chagrin of the DM.
Nevertheless, once we got going, we actually functioned very well as a team. Great fun all round and full marks to the Ref.
Of course, you all know it’s downhill from here on for our intrepid band ….
